We can extrude two or three materials or colors through the same die to make a single profile. For example, your part design might include both a flexible seal and a slide-in retention device.

Or your design might require a thin layer of specialty grade material to provide FDA or UV protection, but specifies an inexpensive resin for the bulk of the profile.

Co-extrusion or tri-extrusion of foamed and dense elastomers allow for the ultimate customization of your seal. The proper combination of foamed and dense rubber will result in a perfect fitting gasket with optimal compression.

Anti-stretch cords increase tensile strength, reducing stretching during installation. Additionally, anti-stretch cords reduce shrinkage as the seal ages by providing additional support.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) allows for our engineering team to optimize your seal by modeling the gasket under the application conditions so we can best select material and profile design.

Custom seals can be manufactured across a large range of sizes. As small as .03 inches with features as small as .01 inches, and as large as 12 inches in width or 3 square inches in area – about as large as a baseball.

Thermoplastic Vulcanizate (TPV) can be made in virtually any color imaginable, including custom color matching, so that means your custom seal can match or compliment the system it is going in to.

We use extreme heat bonding for a stronger seal than an adhesive could provide. Splices may be for assemblies that are spliced endless, or mitered frame gaskets. Every spliced product is hand-inspected and has minimal flash.

We can produce your part with a slick, abrasion-resistant coating that allows for low-friction application. Slip coats are especially important for dynamic seals.

Lubricant can be added to virtually any profile to ease installation. We offer a variety of lube options to suit your application needs.

No two seals are equal. Differences in profile shape, durometer, cut-length, and profile size can require specific packaging needs. Additionally, your installation process may benefit from specific packaging requirements. Our team is experienced in optimizing packaging quantities and methods to provide the best solution for your seal.

Many seals require adhesive backing for installation. We can apply high bond adhesive tape in-line during manufacturing. Most tapes heat activated which result in a permanent bond to the seal.
